I wonder where you get that. Theologians claim is 4004 years old (I think they even had a date like October 10 or something), based on geneology in the bible.
Paleontologists claim its over 4.5 billion years old based on the age of rocks, the fossil record, and studies of the planets and the sun.

the way some guy got that was using information from the bible (like some guy was this old when he had this son, all the way back to creation). However, the bible can also be interpreted to say that the earth is flat and pi is equal to three exactly, so i'm not sure i believe that guy
