At school, when we are talking about how evil religion has been and how we should evolve beyond it, Christian republicans always say their beliefs are important to them and they want to worship in peace.

Why do they try to force their beliefs on me?

Ha ha, I get it. Awesome.

The REAL question here is WHY are some people always insisting that religion is evil, and then getting mad when someone says that they find their own beliefs to be important, and NOT evil?
Simple: Because THOSE people are hypocrites.
Instead of brainwashing our children to be religious, schools are brainwashing them to be atheists. What's the difference?

Christian republicans always say "their beliefs are important to THEM and THEY want to worship in peace"?

How is that forcing their beliefs on you? They didn't say they want you to feel they are important and worship them in peace. No one can force you to believe something you don't want to. You have the choice not to. You don't have to listen and if you CHOOSE to then you certainly don't have to believe what they say.
You could also ask why do Liberal Atheist try to take GOD out of everything associated with the government? If they believe in nothing, then what does it hurt them? It would be no
different than anything else they touch or read, it has no meaning to them therefore it can't harm them.

If it's their Christian beliefs they are trying to force on you, don't blame them for being republican. There are many religious democrats, too. Republican beliefs may not be tied to religion just as democrat ones may not. Two separate issues here. Many people tie the fact that Republican ideology is based on a country governed by the rules of established law to the basic tenants of the Bible.

How are they forcing there beliefs on you when they say its important to them and they want to worship in peace. If they want to keep it to themselves, how is that affecting you?
And why can't liberals accept that some people are different and have different opinions? They don't have to agree with those opinions, but why do they have to criticize others because of there opinions and beliefs? Can't liberals just agree to disagree and leave us alone and not force there beliefs on us because we have different opinions?

Er, this doesn't sound like people are forcing their beliefs on you.

Saying that they 'want to worship in peace' is not an example of prosyletizing.

I don't think this is an authentic question, it sounds like you are trying to trap 'liberals' into persecuting you.

And this is a form of persecution, so cut it out if you don't want to be a hypocrite.

Yet they call people "bigots" and "intolerant" if they spoke out about what is going on right now in Islam, those who are guilty of consistent and countless human rights violations in the middle east.

Don't ever let liberalism make you a hypocrite.

So if I understand what you are saying, only your opinion counts and if they stand up for their beliefs, they are infringing on your rights. I see. A little bit of hypocrisy going on here don't ya think?
