India is the only country in history that has not annexed another. But India has been invaded and plundered a number of times, making it a cluster of tiny princely states before the British reunited it.

With the world moving towards consolidation into trading blocks like the EU and the GCC (Gulf Co-operation Council). The world might end up having fewer countries, lesser laws, greater mobility and a global vision for mankind. Is it not in our best interest to be the India we were, so as to command respect and stability. Is it not true that we from the sub continent share the same values and a great culture?

Will we be able to conquer the world culturally if we stood as a block?

These ideas come up once in a while. Remember when DeGalle visited Canada and suggested that Canada become part of France.
Notice that anyone making these suggestions always want the others to become part of the country they're from.
Now you're suggesting a large consolidation. Would you agree to this if it would be under the control of Afghanistan ?
Each of the countries in the area you mentioned would be one hundred percent in favor of consolidation if their country was in control of the whole area..
You can say the same thing about language. Every person in the entire world would be in favor of a world-wide language, so long as it's his language.
