Of course it depends on the cab fair, but I usually tip 3.00 for the cab, and depending on the attitude of the hotel worker around 2.00 to 5.00 dollars.

I'm more on the is tipping rude thing. I live in the US but have spent my whole life traveling the world. One thing I have noted...

In countries where there is no tipping most services of any kind are bad. What incentive does a person have to act even a tad nicer or move just a bit faster? Non.

Tipping hotel staff in most places is not really necessary but if you are going to be staying a while leave a tip after a night or so for the maid. They will not be so apt to knock on your door at 8:00 AM going "Housekeeping" and work with you schedule instead.

Tipping is a skill and if done right you usually get more in service than the few dollars that you spent.

i usually don't tip cab drivers and hotel staffs....you don't need to tip them cause they too are being paid by their company. Maybe bellboys you could tip them with RM2.00. But the cabbies no .....cause all you know the cab fair is already tipped..
Don't get cheated.

Hotel staff, bell boys, waiters, room service, yes. Front desk, don't think so. Taxi drivers, never thought about tipping them unless they are exceptionally polite, nice and helpful.

it is not primary, nor it rather is ordinary for close by to furnish guidance. As a large style of the bill comprise 10% provider can charge in places like eating place and motel. yet in my view, I do nonetheless experience tip ought to settle for is you experience the provider provided is huge. Giving tip to cab drivers and motel team is all voluntory.
