If cars are measured in horsepower, what do you think horses are measured in?

Because HP has been the standard for measuring engine output for a long time. People understand horsepower. Similiar to the measurement system; everybody knows that the metric is superior and easier, but they won't switch to the metric system, becaues peple here have been using it so long, and understand the standard system.

I was thinking that same thing the other day, we need to come up with something else to measure power by.

Yeah I would like to see a horse's reaction to a half-horse power.

It makes us feel superior that we are now 'advanced' and no longer rely on horses or their powers
