I do with my father in law, he is a sweetheart. I have been married over 36 years and my mother in law still acts like a stole her little boy from her. She is nice to my face but every family member has told things she says behind my back. I knew any way because I'm the only one who gets crappy gifts if I even get one. You would think after all these years she would realize I'm not going anywhere. I have always been nice to her and have never forgotten her B-day, Anniversary or Christmas, etc. She rarely acknowledges me.

I really wish I did, but my mother in law is nuts and I can't have a friendship with a person that I don't respect as a human being

My mother in law passed away last year, the first year of our marriage. I miss her and love her - she was great! My father in law is truly a nice man and very generous.

Yes, I think and one of the lucky one. My mother-in-law and I go out to lunch all the time. We love just 'hanging out'. I think my husband married his mother sometimes. We are so much alike. I am so blessed to have my mother-in-law as a friend.

We love each other. Since my Dad passed away last year my Father in law has sort of adopted me and been there more for me...I love them both dearly.
