Lets just say this. The Corvette Z06 was made to run with the big time European Super Cars and it beat many of them. Now remember the Corvette Z06 for the first time ever kicked the **** out of the Viper. Do you think the new Camaro will be able to beat a Viper in a race? I didn't think so. I'm sure there are a few Porsche models that will lose to the new Camaro like the Boxer and 911 and that other one that is a lower model 911 (Face it Porsche fans there ugly and slow and not even cool because you see 25 of them in one day.) but not a Viper. Ha ha i finished this post at 9:11 AM. Irony at its best.

Here's a link which back's up the speed test.
The Z06 Corvette is a great car, I have driven them on the track an Bondaraunt Racing school. It takes longer to get the vette to 150mph than a motorcycle.
I have listed the Suzuki 600cc GSX-R, because it's the most widely used in racing class of the 600cc.
Top speed is 158 mph.

Yeah 172 on a r6.....try fixing the speedo so its accurate. The 600 should get to 150 faster...but a z06 should EVENTUALLY creep by with a higher top speed. Most 600's have a ACTUAL RADAR confirmed top speed in the 150's Im not talking about what your friends SAID his speedo said. Short of a turbo/motorwork and gearing change a 600 is NOT hitting 170+.

The bike may get you to 150 faster, but the Z06 will get you closer to 200. On a long stretch, the Z06 will make the rider on the bike look like a fool.

I currently have a 2003 Yamaha YZF 600 R, but the power to weight ratio it would probably be the bike is faster then the z06 Vette. probably not by alot but still faster. the bike has 150 hp and only weight 490 lbs the vette has 400 hp but weights amost 4000 lbs.
***my bike is also for sale less then 8000miles, 5500 obo

Hahahaha, Robert P has no idea what he's talking about. I run around with a bike club who all of us have atleast 600cc bikes. Tell all of us they won't do 150mph and we will laugh in your face. My friend on his R6 PERSONALLY has done 172mph. So, I'm sorry my friend but you have no idea what you're talking about. As for the 0-150mph on a 600cc over a Vette, it's going to go to the bike. It takes a STOCK Z06 Vette 17.8 seconds to get to 150. It takes a 2007 Yamaha R6 right over 14 seconds to get to 150mph. You're going to need Rossi riding that bike though.
