There are several reasons:
1. Too much chlorine from swimming in a pool.
2. Being "green with envy" over someone else's hairstyle.
3. Borrowing Linda Blair's (The Excorcist) shampoo.
4. Tripping and falling head first into a huge pot of split pea soup !!

just as Cassie said - Chlorine is a major culprit. If you have been swimming in a pool lately, then you hair is showing signs of Chlorine Damage.
Be sure to shower right ot of the pool, and then take care of your hair.

Shampoo with Dish Detergent, yeah sounds loopy even though it will fade out the black alot faster and you will likely get a depressing brown in the top. might take it sluggish, even though it optimistic beats bleaching your hair.....that's exceedingly plenty the only thank you to do away with black dye. yet another decision may well be a shade stripper, yet once you used boxed shade, strippers won't artwork.

Well when I was in high school, and it was St. Patrick's Day, I put green food

chlorine has a chemical reaction with the protein in a persons hair, however it takes alot of chlorine to affect someone with a darker hair color because they have more natural coloring, the chemical reaction is the reason for the change in color.
