Get your gas money back and depending on how much you have to clean and how long it takes you. On average if you work for an actual maid company you can start off at 10-14 dollars an hour. You'll want to be cheaper than the maid companies so you eliminate your compitition.

I would charge a flat rate depending on size of house, amount of cleaning and get some of your gas money back.

I'm from California so can't answer the specific, but I would suggest that you look in the local paper and find someone who is advertising and then contact them and ask them how much they charge. Then you can lower the price and be more competitive.

call around to some of the cleaning services and ask what
they charge, then base your charge on their charge, but try
to be a little cheaper.
