did you get filters that came with the dsl modem?
most isp's include filters with their dsl modems, hard to describe what they look like, but there's usually a few (4 with mine) in the box.
They must be connected to any of the phones you have in your home.

You need DSL filters on every phone in your house. The DSL provider you use should have provided these for you when you had your DSL installed. If you have DSL filters one could be bad so depending on how many phones you have you need to find the bad filter.
