Coughing up stuff (other than food) is a pretty bad sign. It often is a sign of a lung infection which can easily be fatal.

Boost temps about 5 degrees, quarantine the turtle ASAP, and take it to the vet. There is no good home care for this emergency situation.

Well... Sounds like a type of internal infection, most likely bacterial but could also be viral. Could've been caused by the water or more likely, rotten food that it ate. It needs to see a vet ASAP. There are no home remedies for any illness, contrary to popular belief. I'm shocked you've let it continue on for 8 hours. The sooner you catch a problem and treat it, the easier it will be for the animal to recover.

Want a remedy? Really concerned? Quit jacking around and go to a vet who gets paid to find out what this is and take care of it. Or is your turtle not that important to spend $30 on to save it's life?

It could be regurgitation from a bad meal, gastrointestinal or respiratory infection, poisoning, etc. etc....BUT WHAT WOULD YOU DO ABOUT IT ANYWAY EVEN IF YOU KNEW? GO TO A VET!

arranged commercial nutrition shouldn't make up nearly all of a turtle's eating regimen. A mature YBS can take approximately 0.5 animal and 0.5 vegetable nutrition, with the reptomin as a complement. to boot the ingredients you point out, she ought to get earthworms, fishes, liver dusted in bone meal, and different green leafy vegetables. Adults would properly be fed as quickly as a week, much less often during the wintry climate. Feed all of it that it will consume at one time.
