Lady Persephone, strife wouldn't neccessarily be the interesting factor here. I'd like to see if the different groups' different approaches to life plays out in this situation.
Who will take time to pray or meditate?
Will the Jews eat rats?
Will Christians turn the other cheek?

I don't think religious beliefs are such a big deal in America as they are everywhere else. Jonathan (last season) was Jewish but that didn't affect whether or not people liked him. Other than that I don't really recall people even mentioning their religion in any episodes. Religion just isn't a cause for strife here.
