My husband likes to go to strip clubs and I was thinking for his birthday in June I would surprise him, by taking some pole dance classes and enroll in a stripper amateur night. I would go all out, get a nice wig, stripper wear and all that. I think it would be fun and spontaneous plus I'm in great shape and nice looking. But, I'm not sure how he would react. He could either be turned on, or be disgusted and my whole plan of good intentions would blow up in my face. Married men, how would you feel about this?

Wow that is a very interesting question. And one that I can't answer for you. this is because it isn't an easy question. If your husband is an exhibitionist and wanting to show off "his" woman, then it might go over great. Or if he is more conservative (ie go to the club, see trashy women, and come home to his "pure" wife) then it might be a bomb.
Different men have diiferent viewpoints on their wives/gf's being strippers. I'm married to a gorgeous woman, who has danced that way. I didn't mind, and in fact I thought it was a turn on. But I know guys who are jealous and possessive who that would end a relationship.
going to the strip club isn't about you not being woman enough. It might be a place where he meets with friends, relaxes, and gets away from the world.
i would suggest you go to a strip club with your husband first. Women are welcome, and so are couples. Sit next to him, maybe get a lapdance for yourself, snuggle him and tease him (sexually) take him home and hump his brains out. Unless you know what your husband is seeking going to the strip club, having you get up on stage and strip might be a huge turn on, or a turn off.
I'd still take the pole dancing class and have fun learning about it, but I'd go with him to the strip club first.
Tell him you are interested in going with him, and then make a date out of it. Then you can ask him about it afterwards (ie would you like to see me do that? kind of questions.)

Before going any further, you should question your motives. Even though you say you have good intentions and that you want to surprise him, I wonder if part of you wants to teach him a lesson. Maybe you want to show him that there are a lot of girls that are capable of being strippers but have chosen another lifestyle? Maybe you are a little hurt that he get still gets his jollies this way when he has a very attractive woman at home? And last but not least maybe there is a part of you that is intrigued by this lifestyle (almost like role-playing) and the exhibitionist inside of you is just dying to come out? Maybe I am way off base here but I think that you would be doing this for all oft he wrong reasons and at the end of the day not get the anticipated result.
I am sure you have seen Mafia movies where the gangster have girlfriends that do things for them that they would never ask there wives (out of a sense of respect) to do. A similar principal is at work here. Just because he enjoys seeing women in this fashion does not imply that he would enjoy seeing you in the same light nor would he like the idea of his buddies seeing you as well.
An alternative suggestion that most guys would really enjoy as a gift would be for you to take him to a strip club. Pick the most beautiful girl that you think your husband will like (you know his type) and have her give you a lap dance. This girl on girl action with his wife will thrill him.

*pick up my jaw from the floor, and wipe off the drool!* OK, now, what were you asking? Oh ya. Ummmm, would you marry me too? Personally I would find that to be a total turn-on!! WOW! My wife doing this for me? MMMMMM!!! I would be impressed as h*ll, and proud as well!! I would think that you might want to try to set up a pole in your own home instead though-for when he gets reallt excited with what you are doing, you can both enjoy the results!! But also the entire amatuer stripper idea is really good too, if you know your hubby will be at that show!! Especially if you win!!

That would be pretty cool if you did it at home. Just don't think that you are going to make him stop going to strip clubs by doing that though. If he's the type of guy that likes strip clubs, the fact that you stripped for him won't stop him from going. As long as you realize that, then I think I would personally think that something like that would be really cool. Then again, I don't go to strip clubs now that I am married, so maybe I would think differently about it than he would.
I don't think you should do it at the strip club though. Your husband probably doesn't want his wife showing herself to other people like that. I would NOT like that.

I think you're a great wife that your willing to take part in activities he likes. Though he may like the fact that his clubs and his home life are separate. Not that he acts improperly, but that it's a break. That may not be the case, just a possiblity. He would probably love you dancing for him and that you took such effort for him. He'd probably like it, but he may not like other guys seeing you naked or barely dressed. I wouldn't, but he might since you'll be disquised by the wig. That thing varies between guys. But you know him, I don't. So if he's kind of a prude when it comes to you, I wouldn't or do it at home. You should probably do it, but possibly in private where it's just you two.

I think you are wrong. I do go to the strip tease. I get turned on.
When I come to my wife, I have different attitude. I never look down upon her. I do not expect my wife to be strip teaser. If she does, may be I will get charged for couple of times. But in due course, I will start looking down upon her and my respect for her will be diminishing.
Remember, when the husbands go to the clubs, they do know where they are going. When they go to their wives, they also know what respect they deserve. This is my feeling.
If you want to excite your husband learn more tricks on fore lays.

First of all, tell your husband to get with it and worship you and your body for who you are! True love and romance is based on mutual, unconditional love and respect. Secondly, find and watch the episode of "The King of Queens" where his wife has the same idea about a pole. It is very funny and will probably be all the info you need on this subject. Good Luck

On the other hand, most men that go to strip clubs are living out some kind of sexual rebellion. It could go one or two ways,...he might be ashamed that he's exposed and rebel further.... or ...it could wake him up to his perverted ways of visiting strip clubs.

I am married. If my wife did that because I know she knows I go to strip clubs then I will be turned on seriously but if I think she does not know that I attend strip clubs and she did that I shall feel so guilty that I may pretend not to be interested or even express disgust when she dances.

He likes to go to the clubs for a fantasy. You are real.
Give him a dance at home, not in front of other men. That would piss me off.
He likes the women at the club because he is not close to them. They are like the forbidden fruit. He can have you anytime. Like I said, take the classes and then dance for him at home. Prove to him there is nothing better than you.
