Me and my sister were washing dishes and some soap bubbles on ther other bowl of the sink formed in the shape of a ghost, so we though it was funny or cool so we played with it and then washed it off. Then about a few minutes later on the side of the sink that was filled with water and bubbles at the top made a shape of a skull. Now my mom had a fight with some guy at work and so she came home with a headache and sick. Today she still felt sick and so my aunt came and did what most hispanics do which is called "pasando el wuevo" meaning passing the egg. What they do is roll uncooked cold egg around the sick persons body and pray, then you hatch it into a cup and soon it spreads in the water in some shape and my aunt says something either good or bad. I asked my mom one time what it meant when it was bad and she said something about someone doing devilish stuff on you. Could this be something out of coinsidence or really witch craft or voodoo?

Well of what you said, it may not be voodoo it maybe just a few people who really hates your mother and when these hates build it causes the person to feel ill due to all the pressure being built. You might need to help her to become strong in her self, with all the jelousy around it comes to haunt you and all of your family members, if you have a strong mind and sould then you can overcome it. I know this because I had this experience.

While I think voodoo and witchcraft can work, don't jump to conclusions. From what you've said, all that's happened is your mum got a headache and felt a bit sick. And some bubbles in the sink looked a bit like they were making shapes. Ever seen shapes in the clouds? This is hardly reason to think someone put a spell on your mum. If you are really worried you could do some protection spells but it doesn't sound like you have anything to worry about.

Helehlo and Garret are right, your imagination is running wild. Witchcraft and voodoo are very real (I am a witch) and the Hispanic inference to passing the egg is not "most Hispanics, but a minority. It is simply another method of divination, like reading tea leaves or coffee grounds. Your mom probably came home sick because the stress of the argument may have caused her illness. Other than that it is simply imagination and coincidence.

Hispanics (especially Caribean) really believe it this stuff. My aunt had me go through the whole "cleansing" process while the local fortune teller smeared all these ointments and chanted over me. End result - my life is the same. I guess if you believe it and live your life by it, it will be true, because we make our fears or beliefs real. If you don't believe it thats good because you know that your life and your experiences are in YOUR hands, not some spell on you.
Its fun to do this kinda stuff or believe it a little, especially if you're a **** like me, but dont let it dictate how you live your life.

Witchcraft, or VooDoo depends heavily on the belief systems of BOTH parties. The spell caster and the spell receivor. If a person does not believe in Voodoo, then the spells will have little or no effect.

I can't honestly say whether or not I fully believe in witchcraft or voodoo, but I do believe in spirits and I absolutely believe there are things, forces in this world that we don't fully understand and may never. Incidentally, it's funny you should ask this question right now....I'm watching the second Blair Witch movie!

It's possible that someone could have put a bad spell on your mom, but that all depends on her belief in witchcraft. Have you ever seen the movie Skeleton Key, if you watch it you will see what i mean. Spells can't work if you don't believe in it. I believe in because it has happened to me before, but after that experience I've realized that God is more powerful than any spell that can be cast upon you. All you have to do is put your faith in God, pray, read your bible, light your white candles, and lead your life righteously. Don't worry about being harmed by that crap, there are a lot of psycho's out there that will try something like that, put just know that God will protect you and you'll be safe.

I would not worry about this at all however respect the other people's beliefs especially if they feel it helps.Traditional methods help people to cope with the unknown. You are in the position to learn and cope with so much more so just be grateful that you are so blessed......and don't allow superstition to complicate your lives unnecessarily

Imagination can make soap bubbles, clouds, waves, leaves, etc. have the semblance of other things, and it can make there seem to be relationships between unrelated events. I see coincidence and imagination at work here.
