This just cracks me up. He (And people like him) see homosexuality as a type of immorality, whereas bloodshed is not. This is just absurd. Does he prefer seeing two men slaughter each other rather than seeing two men hold hands? It's so just hypocritical.

War at times is necessary but between the two I would say that war is immoral not homosexuality.
The head of the US forces must have some mental disorder due to some chemical agent that he go during the war.

I think President Bush is an idiot, but not immoral. I do however believe that the war is very immoral. Incidentally, the head of U.S. Forces is the President of the United States. The guy that made the comment is the Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Well its not either gay is immoral or war is immoral. Why can't people be for gays and think war is moral. But we need every decent person in the military right now fighting for our country. Why are you worried about the sexuality of this person? You know we killed each other in Vietnam because of such things. Maybe people who think of such things still will be the downfall of another major war we may have in the future. War isn't immoral if you have something to fight for. This war right now.....in Iraq. Its immoral. We never found any weapons. All we are doing right now is sending more soldiers to their deaths by suicide bomber. Don't people know that people in Iraq are proud of their suicide bombers. They even think they are saints or martyrs. Why just fuel the suicide bomber with more fire providing more people to kill. If they don't want us there we are not going to be. Short of dropping a nuke on Iraq there is nothing we can do to stop the killing. We have to pull out. WHO'S WITH ME?
And gay men and women make good soldiers too you know. Not all gays are looking for sex. Maybe they are just looking to make a difference for their country.

The Commander in Chief of U.S. Armed forces is the Pres. of the U.S. I've never heard him state that gays are immoral. Anyway, I think war is immoral.

Yeah, I really believe that rolling over and playing dead for any scum that wants to kill me is the high, moral ground. Give me a break. The two issues have nothing to do with each other. And historically, the meanest, baddest, best-armed SOB in the valley, and the one with the shortest fuse, is the one least likely to be picked on. We should have given Afghanistan 24 hours to turn over Bin Laden and then vaporized the entire sorry country. And we should have taken out Saddam Hussein the minute he stonewalled the UN inspectors. Notice that Libya got the message and is now trying its best to get on our good side. How precious of Europe to dance around the terrorists and whine about US military presence when they've lived in peace for decades under OUR protection.
What does this have to do with gay issues, by the way?

War is immoral. However, sometimes it is necessary...current war excluded.
Being gay is not immoral. Abuse of power and position is immoral.
Certain "Christians" love to throw biblical references out there convinced how being gay is a sin. Most of those same critics however support the war going on in Iraq. Interestingly enough, they have forgotten that little ditty in the bible that states "Thou Shalt Not Kill".

I think that this 'war' we're in is immoral. I will assume that you are talking about General Pace and not Pres. Bush but I think Pace is immoral. No, amoral.

war is a normal part of life something we have lived with for centuries...and i believe that being gay is perfectly normal as well...and thanks to the time we live in it is more accepted by society...each person has the right to be sexually attracted to whomever they choose...as long as they are ready to deal with the criticism...like people in bi racial relationships having biracial children...personally i believe that although i myself am not a homosexual i have no right to tell anyone else if they are immoral or moral...
