Well you should have asked all the important questions before you even thought to ask her to marry you. There should be no questions unanswered before you take that all important step.

How about you clarify first what you call a “virgin”?
There are two type of virginity: physical and emotional.
Physical is just the hymen. And this is a very tricky one because not all women have it the same size, and in fact, there are women who has no hymen at all since day one.
Back in time, and still today in some “non-civilized” countries, if a woman is found with no hymen by the husband right after they got married, then he has the right to do whatever he wants to her, including killing her. Savage if you ask me, because she might have never been with no one else, nature just didn’t give her a hymen, and she might have to pay with her life.
Another problem with the hymen is that if she masturbates a lot, even if her hymen is present, she could brake it with her fingers or worse if she uses anything else to masturbate, from a dildo to who knows what.
And then you have the real virginity, which is emotional. For a woman to be a virgin, she must have never had sexual contact with another person (note that it can be a man or a woman).
Even if she never got penetrated, if she had a sexual contact with another person, and more if she got an orgasm, I can guarantee you, she is no virgin.
So the only real way to know is by asking. And then you have 50/50 chances, because she could lie, or tell you the truth. But if you know the girl from before, and you know how she is, then it should be easy for you to know if she is lying or not.
But the real question is, who cares if she is virgin or not? Does it matter? If you love a woman, and she loves you back, and you are planning to get married, then it doesn’t matter because you must accept her as she is, and what is in the past, is just that, the past. Is good to know, and she should be honest, same as you must be with her and tell her if you are a virgin or not. And if any of you is not, then a STD test should be performed prior to performing any sexual act. And even if both are virgins, but had had some “fun” (which really makes you not really a virgin as I described before), I would still do STD tests to make sure you are not sick.
Hope this helps.

Assume she is not a virgin. Better than a 50% chance that you will not be wrong.

Try asking her. Only she knows the truth on that matter.

You ask her.
If you don't trust her to give you a truthful answer, you shouldn't be marrying her in the first place.
