Because they're beans with jelly in them!
I think it's supposed to be funny or appealing to little kids. They were just sitting at the dinner table the night before dreading a plate of lima beans or something...
Then they see candy versions of lima beans?!? I'm sure they get excited! lmao...

Gluco? LOL Because they have gelatine in them, and gelatine is used to make jelly. So you add the beans on to the end because theyre bean shaped and you end up with jelly-beans ;)
