Get an xray done-you may have broken the base of your 5th metatarsal bone.

You Could have a sprain or strain, you could have torn something like a muscle or tendon. I would ask to get a bone xray and if they dont find anything ask for maybe an MRI on it for all the other things [besides bone]. Good Luck

You probably just have a bad bruise, But broken bones are not to be taken lightly. Swelling and discoloration are signs of a possible fracture. See your doctor ASAP. Best safe than sorry.

Could be a bad sprain, torn ligament or an avulsion fracture

A doctor can tell you specifically what it is. In the mean time ice, elevate, rest and take Aleve/Ibuprofen

No offense, but you shouldn't be asking this question on Y&A,you should be talking to a doctor, and telling him what you did when you jumped off the bed.ASAP!

you should go to the doctor. they can find what is wrong and give you crutches to make walking easier/less painful.
