There is a lady at work who is nothing more than a biyaatch...
My husband calls in from time to time to tell me something urgent. Yesterday he called in and asked her if he could speak to me. She is always rude and obnoxious on the phone, no matter who the person is (unless it's her personal call).
He finally had enough of this and filed a complaint under a fake name so as not to give me grief.
Our boss read this complaint and immediately pinned ME as the person who answered the phone rudely....
I didn't feel like getting in trouble for the umpteenth time at work so I pulled my boss aside and told her the situation.
She was fine with it and said he had every right to complain, but now we are having a meeting to discuss it, and the biyatch had already made it known that she is going to VOICE HER OPINION....
My question?: How do you disconnect so that things don't get to you...I'm tired of all the B.S. and just want to tune out like I did when I was a teenager...HELP!

You know how to solve this problem, confront her in the meeting let her know she can't walk all over you and that if she tries you won't sit back and take it. Obviously she has had her way with too many things in life and people roll over for her. Confront her she needs it.

I finally confronted a woman who wa sover me when she called me out in a meeting and I got a lot more respect from it then if I coward at her comments.

Good Luck

"You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free".
I say tell it like it is and let her crawl under whatever rock she might fit under. This gives me such a feeling of deja vu. I can just about picture this woman... she looks a lot like "Ursula" in "The little mermaid"... (I know it's not the image a guy would normally come up with, but my kids watch it a lot, so ...)

Let her voice her opinion. If she's a consistent problem to a group of people and not just you, she may aggravate the boss into firing her.

Holy Backfire Batman....

Just start being extra nice to this lady...

If she continues to be a pain, continue to complain (hey that rhymes), but don't give her any ammo to use against you.
