I don't know if anyone elses notices this but on the street I often notice a random shoe just lying there (or on top of bus shelters). How the hell does someone lose a shoe. Surely you would notice if you lost your shoe!!

There are idiots in this world.

There was a famous Real Madrid - Barcelona game where Figo went to take a corner in front of the Barca fans, and had the usual array of coins and lighters thrown at him, then came a mobile phone and then a shoe. This leads to 3 questions:

1. Seriously WHO throws a shoe?? Of all things why a shoe?

2. How can you get so wound up about football you'd give up a shoe just to have somethign to throw at someone?

3. If you've already thrown it and now face an uncomfortable one-shoed journey home, why not just throw the other one too?

Shoes bring out the weird side in us all.

Maybe from homeless people . if they found or somehow got another, better pair , they may just leave them . They may also come from the feet of drunk/ high people , they dont know what they are doing most of the time. Or children may throw them out the car window. Shoes on the eletric lines is s street thing to show respect for some one who died , they may have fallen off the electric wire. hope this helps.

About 6 years ago I saw this guy changing shoes at the bus stop. He took of his raggedy shoes and put on some brand new ones, then he threw the old ones over his shoulder! I guess he was just too lazy to throw his raggedy shoes in the trash can.

I've heard they're from the Lost Shoe Monster - he randomly thows shoes around to make people wonder where they come from. It's only a rumour though.

Why do you keep asking the same question? Or have you lost your imagination as well as a shoe?

Oh that'll be me, sorry. I go around on Saturdays with a big wheelbarrow full of em, depositing them randomly.

It's a living.

People have a tendency to 'kick' things on the street, so if you look carefully, I'm sure you find the other one not far away... Try it, its really true!
