AH. I totally remember being obbsessed with guys who were nearly twice my age. It's all about maturity, and to be honest, no 10 year old has the mind set of a 17 year old. Or even CLOSE.

He's too old for you he will want different things to you and have a better experience of life. So you may find interesting things to talk about as he will know and find different things interests. I say stay away and don't grow up to fast. However conversation starters. Ask a question like fav food or T.v and so on. Maybe ask him about his family or something you both have in common.

Young Lady: first of all what there thinking about you have no need to know at your age. There are places he can go that will not allow you near them.Second of all he can go to jail if anyone even thought that you and him were spending any kind of time together. You need to go to someone you trust and have a long talk about the birds and bees and other legal matters that concern dating TAKE YOUR TIME;YOU HAVE A FULL LIFE AHEAD OF YOU!

don't forget, he's almost of a legal age (18). If it was to become more than a friendship you guys could get into serious trouble...stay away. In situations like that, you'll always be thinking friends isn't enough, and that's no good.

i dont know. just strike up a conversation with him. i broke up with my 17-year-old bf and im 16. good luck. the worst that could happen is that he could not like u the way you like him. that is a big age difference tho.

RUN far far away from him while the getting is good. Boys are much too complicated to deal with until you're older and even then, it doesn't get much easier.
