Ok, so i asked a question earlier on how my voice broke when i was 13, and how now, at 16, it seems to have got deeper... I got a reply from this guy who said that your voice keeps on getting deeper till you are 19.. Is that true??

it all depends on the person. My voice also began cracking at around 13 or 14, I would say it stopped getting deeper by around 17 or 18. Could be true for you, could not be.

for guys, yes. i'm a voice teacher, and i can tell you that, on average, a guy's voice will pretty well settle in by 19, although about age 24 is when things really settle. for girls, though, it's different--tthe magic age is about 35. that's because of the onset of menopause.

Depends. Whiskey and tobacco help some folks get deeper voices too.

For the guy who answered, it was true. All guys are different.
Before puberty, I sang bass in the junior choir. After puberty, I now sing first tenor.
Every guys' change through puberty is different, & happens slightly differently.
