I need a new black mascara that lengthens, volumises, separates etc, and is waterproof (as waterproof mascaras are the only ones that seem to hold my lashes in place after curling them and doesn't smudge / wear off in hot weather).
I've bought and tried so many different brands, am fed up with wasting money.....
Am currently using L'oreal lash architect waterproof but am very very bored of it.
Thanks!!

I do not think that there is anything better than Diorshow by Christan Dior. This product does it all. I have tried everything and thus far, Dior is the best-

Most waterproof mascaras dry out the lashes so I would reccomend getting your lashes tinted instead as this makes them look like you are wearing a really good mascara and lasts for ages.

You can still curl them etc and wear a clear mascara to enhance them even more

The best I have ever tried is L'Oreal Volume Shocking Double Mascara, Dior Show is also OK, I used to use it, but I found the L'Oreal one a lot better and more long lasting, I get home at the end of the day and it still looks like I just put it on, lasts through everything, days at the beach, crying fests, heat, anything...

I think the one your using is awesome, I know what you mean i get bored of sticking with the same one too, i like to change. I tend to use 3 mascaras to get the look i like. First L'oreal volumissee x4 as it brushes the lashes, and seperates without coating the lashes too much, then i use the lash architect to coat finely and give volume, it seems to coat every lash. Then lastly I use Rimmel Volume Flash as it gets a lovely blackening look, and shock factor definition with thick lashes but doesn't look as tho your caked in masarca.

I always find the cheaper ones are better, no idea why but I suppose it's a bonus!

Both Boots Natural Collection and Boots 17 are great. For one that's slightly more expensive but still good value - Intense Volume Waterproof by No 7.

I use Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara. It lengthens, volumizes, etc and is waterproof. It comes in black and black brown. MK did, like, 26 test panels to come up with the "perfect" mascara and their Ultimate Mascara is what they came up with.

The best mascara bar none is Lancome. I think it's called Maquisils. It's dark and goes on really well, but comes off easily with eye makeup remover. It makes your lashes look very dark, thick and long. It's kind of expensive, but well worth it.

Mrs L is correct, Dior Show is amazzzingg and they have a new one now that's even better. It doesn't dry your lashes out like some of them do :)
