Call your doctor.
A woman's thyroid changes during pregnancy. I know this because I have thyroid disease and have had to watch my numbers closely. The thyroid hormone levels tend to go up, increasing your metabolism and increasing heart rate. (but only slightly in a normal person)
As well, your heart rate will increase during pregnancy to keep blood going to the baby. It should only increase 10-20 beats though.
However, 120 is high. I'd call your doctor just to be safe.

I really dont know anything about that because Im not a doctor. But everytime I even think about something that makes me sort of panic, my heart feels like its going to come out of my chest. It might be that you think and then panic and then thats when your heart starts beating fast. Try not to think about it, relax and focus on something else. If you feel comfortable, call the doctors office and ask them at the front desk or ask the doctor.

I would call a doctor to be safe, but from what I have read your heart rate goes up when pregnant because your heart is working alot harder. But mine is usually around 90 where it used to be 70, so your seems a little high

You might be having an anxiety attack (whether you recognize it as that or not) - you and baby are probably just fine. Just monitor your symptoms and if you're feeling light-headed, nauseated, associated chest pain or intense heaviness in your chest, then get to a hospital. If this is just rapid heart beat, then call your doc and relay the symptoms.

Heart racing can be MANY things. It could be caused by stress, too much caffeine, smoker, smoker on birth control (read blood clots in lungs here), mitral valve prolaspe, cardiac anomalies, anxiety, panic attacks...really too much to list here
you may want to call your doctor for an exam...he may want to put a holter or an event monitor on you, do an ekg, basic lab work for electrolyte checks, or maybe refer you to a cardiologist...good luck

Call the doctor. If your body is working hard, then the baby's might be, as well.
