Hi everyone!
I would like to stay in Bristol i believe i will be there in July or August perhaps.I'm looking people over there.i can share point of views opinions etcetera...

Bristol is not very friendly.
Try Liverpool it is the friendliest place in the World - (and there are loads of cheep accommodation)

I assume that your question is a serious request for help, so the stupid answers that some people have given you are useless. Try this.
Bristol is not a place for "fuddy duddies". It has a thriving night life, a couple of superb theatres and lots of cinemas.
The place is full of History and technology. It is a pity that the city council who run the place do such a bad job. The bus service is poor and the city roads are in atrocious condition. This means that it is one of the most traffic-congested cities in the south.
Just outside of Bristol is some of the best countryside in existence.
The local brewery "Smiles" produces a beer to be really enjoyed at any time.
These days you can even buy pea fritters, which are now creeping north from Southampton.
It is not all good:-
There are places where you should not go, but they exist in every city - especially Liverpool. If you're going to get a flat be very careful about where it is- do your research on the web site given below.
Bristol has one of the highest car crime rates in the country so if you have a car make sure that you lock it and don't leave valuables on display.

I don't live in Bristol ,but in view of some of the sectarian answers you've had so far, could I point out that it is a really nice city.

and is there a famous bristol or something that everyone is suposed to know what the heck ur talkin about, thats like saying im gonna be in springfield any one know a good stop, like its the only place in the world with that name, the bristol here is the home of ESPN so i would say check that place out

Bristol is a HORRIBLE PLACE!!!! The best place to live is Liverpool ,Manchester or Leeds If youre wanting to live in the West Country then Bristol will have to do, but it is dead!!! the only thing going for it is the government sold its soul and wants to build loads of offices and warehouses they call it REGENERATION!!! It has crap wage structure for an expensive city, no nightlife worth mentioning, no descent housing at realistic prices(rented or bought)...
