Both games are good.
NBA Live has tournaments,All-star weekend which include Dunk contest,3 point shootout,rookie-sophomore game,all star game,and one on one.
But if you dont want flshy dunks and bit of realistic gamimg go with Nba 2k7

Get NBA 2k7. It's outselling live by more than 50% for a reason. The game magazines are saying it's better and more realistic for a reason: because it's better and more realistic and has been running live into the ground for 5 years straight. Make the smart choice and get NBA 2k7. Be careful not to pick up NBA 07. That's a different game and completely sucks.

2k7 i have played both games to know that 2k7's have better graphics and have better game play.

you should get nba live 07 depends on what game system you have if you have a xbox360 then you should get live07 because its original and its fun to play and they have new things on their
