They say " truth will set you free." Now when someone searches for the truth, usually their are blockades. Groups of people telling you you don't know what your talking about, or you are just some uneducated punk who needs corrected by his "Peers." But that shows you that truth can crush the hopes of false things that we percieve as innocent. And Truth can never be in the dark no matter how hard you try to destroy it, burn it, or even remove it from the hands of the common people. And for some reason, Truth is found by the innocent or the broken spirited.

If the truth is the reality of what really happened instead of what everybody believed happened, then truth is a big time loser. Hundreds of so called "convicted killers" have been proved innocent through DNA after their execution. But if truth is the do-right and live-right moral question i believed you posed it to be here, i don't know! I mean, whose truth? It's very personal and disturbing. And I for one, don't even care.

truth is itself backbone of a human being because one who speaks truth has no tension on his mind. He just beleives in God. He doesnot need to remember what he has said to several people in several ways. The earth is standing on the base of truth so go on and don't say ever it come out from dark IT IS A LIGHT ITSELF

sounds like someone is an absolutist with a barbarians at the gate mentality...or maybe i'm being a bit harsh there.
of course truth is a loser. haven't you read nietzsche? why wouldn't you prefer un-truth to truth if the former was to be more palatable? or better suited your agenda? look around you, dude. look at the millions of people that tell themselves lies every day, myself and yourself included, tell themselves so many lies in fact that they live in palaces constructed out of lies?
what is truth? words, just words. but, and here's the thing, we in the west are just beginning to wake up to the fact that we need un-truth to survive. people need their rickety edifices of lies to keep them getting up out of bed. christians need their god to give their lives meaning. and, my friend, until we can come up with a viable alternative to that mother of all palaces of lies, we ouselves will have to live in the same palace, or one very similar.
we are on the cusp of becoming adult enough to not worry about truth (and through this whole answer i'm referring to truth with a capital T, just as you are in your question), so, even if truth is absolute, why bother about it when our lies suit us so much better?

in a world full of deception the TRUTH is no longer relevant. how do we make the truth relevant again? YOU ASK "DOES THE TRUTH HAVE A BACKBONE". AND I SAY DO HUMANS HAVE THE BACKBONE TO TELL THE TRUTH.
