All the positions in the nba are hard because they all need exellence in their game play. centers need to be able to dominate the paint in the inside and be able to get up high for the rebounds. power forwards are basically the same but they need to have a little better shot, not as good as dirk, but a fairly good shot. small forwards are probably the hardest because they are relied on doing a little bit of everything. getting some rebounds, scoring a little, getting some assists, and playing defense. point guards are pretty hard too because they get the most critizisim. if they dont pass the ball and get the others to score, nobody will like them unless the have great handles and can jump and dunk like baron davis or steve francis. i think shooting guards have it easy. even if they dont know how to shoot, the centers and power forwards are always there to set picks for them. even if they dont play defense, everyone blames the center and powerforwards because apparently they are the ones who should block every shot and play all the defense even if that man isnt the one they are supposed to hold. i dont suggest being any thing but a shooting guard but the major problem is that there are a lot of other shooting guards in the league who just cant contribute to their team. thats why it is so hard to make the nba and make everyone think that u are a good player.

By simply asking this question proves that you'll probably never play in the NBA.
Unless you have unnatural God given talent like Lebron and Melo, it takes hard work and dedication to get into the NBA. Not trying to take the easy way out.
