I assume you're talking about the US. Free Schools:

There are actually some school in the US that, if you can get in - and admissions is highly competitive - the tuition is free:

The Cooper Union, in NYC
Olin College, in Massachusetts
The Curtis Institute, in Philadelphia
The Yale School of Music, in New Haven

Of course, CU only offers art, architecture and engineering. Olin is only engineering. Curtis and Yale are both music.

There are other schools that are free - the military academies, for example - but I believe you need to be a resident of the US.

The other option is to go any school that has a ROTC program. Then the military will pay for your studies - so long as you major in specific things, and join the military afterwards. For ROTC, I believe you need to be a US citizen.

Lastly, you can go to a non-free school, and if you qualify for enough student aid, that can cut the cost significantly. If finances are an issue for you or your family, go ahead and apply to the school you want (not looking at price), and see what sorts of student aid they offer you.

Once upon a time, the Malays in Singapore got free education. Didn't need to pay a single cent for school. But the system has since been changed. Now everyone has to pay for school.

But we can always apply for bursaries and scholarships. ^__^

undesirable theory. loose colleges could be set up by employing absolutely everyone that has the time or inclination to set one up and could be paid for out of the prevailing college funds, which will recommend much less money for latest colleges. the human beings who will income from those loose colleges are the infants of the rich people who could have the time to set them up as you may wager your life on it that they're going to %. the scholars that pass to those colleges. loose colleges are based on the Swedish kind which they themselves are staring at scrapping as they chanced on the rich benefited on the detriment of the adverse. I don't know that that exists anymore. However, you might be able to find someone who's willing to teach you in exchange for something (like a barter system).
