ok so platypus don't have electric tails for starters, whoever said that is a moron, they are mammals....no toxic tails there. Anyway I say the armadillo would win because he would roll up into a ball and repeatedly run the platypus over, even though the platypus would use its big flat tail to try and swat, he'd put up a good fight, but still lose.

The armadillo would roll into a ball when the platypus was tired out from beating on him,the armadillo would unroll and beat the crap out of the other guy. So there!

I'd say the platypus due to it's electric or poisonous tail. Armadillos don't have anything to protect itself from predators except roll into a ball or something.

armadillo- it would just sit in a ball and let the platypus wear itself out. The poison tipped tail has nothing on kertinized hair plates.
