In my opinion not everybody loves himself/herself. Many people judge what they do, don't truly love one of their sides, try to reform and they might fail. These are the people who truly hate others.
Hate is a very big word. It is not that easy to hate, it is more easy to get annoyed with others.

This is the depth of intolerance and stupidity of the human race. The bible say 'U are able to see the speck in your brother's eyes but u can't see the log in your own eyes.....'
Humans are such, they can clearly the few faults of others but not the infinite faults of self.

When you point your pointer finger the rest of your four fingers are held towards yourself. We point only one finger at others. As per the saying one can't look at his own back you can very easily see others mistake so we get irritated at the glimpse of few faults. As we love ourselves more than any body else we can forgive our mistakes and just can't take others mistakes.

Quite likely! When a person is enamoured of him/herself, one is less likely to apply that trait to others. One's self is always in a sort of competition with the world, and that causes a person to dislike others. More so, if the self love is born of superiority complex. Others usually fail one's standards and thus are less likeable - notwithstanding that the person is full of faults himself. Standards applied to others are rarely tested on self :-)

finding our faults is divine nature
finding fault with others is devil nature
man is made of both
there is a tug of war between both
worldly desires pull us towards devil
fear of conscience leads us towads divine
worldly things can be seen and witnessed but conscience can only be felt
so the former usually takes the lead

You love yourself despite your infinite faults... Just bcoz u don't cheat on urself... u admit ur faults... which very good on ur part...
U just hate other person... just bcoz they don't admit their faults... they try to show that they r always right... and that's what u hate...
u just want things to b honest... either right or wrong....

Yes. You are on right path. Don't find fault with others. It is not that easy to absolve all such faults. Still practising with good heart, it is OK.

My first thought is why would you see yourself as having infinite faults?
You must have a religious background.
