..regularly give...and also to the homeless..

No I don't regularly give to charity but my family and I support our family and friends "back home" (back home as in the thirld world). So in my case I believe that charity starts at home.
At the end of the day, it's up to the individual to decide which causes are closest to his heart. Sometimes I believe that certain causes get too much publicity and money such as Comic Relief when there are many charities out there that deserve just as much help.

Giving charity doesnt always have to mean giving money, you can also volunteer your time, help at a homeless shelter, be a Big Brother or Sister, etc. So would you consider a church a charity? They want you to give all the time. Good question.

I don't mind giving money for charity what I don't like is being pressured into it!

I rarely give money to people in the street! Even if they have a charity badge....I hate the ones that stand outside supermarkets!

I give when I can. I would like the choice though to pick the charities I give to.........don't like being called and asked to give money because I find it hard to say no.
If I can't really afford it I am just honest and tell them that I have enough to pay for at home at the moment and wil give what I can, when I can.
