Ties are being questioned by hygienists and even a MD lobby in England. They say that when the physicians wear it (or a 'foulard') it should become, moreover in complicate and intricate knots, a microbian nest of bachteria, viruses, etc, that in Hospitals rises so much risk of contagion. In their technical jargon, ties are 'hyatrogenic'. And the most radicals have a very creepy 'motto': "Put a tie, kill a patient!" Think about it, tie is not somewhat anachronic, does it match with our today's way of life?

the smartest way ever, in my opinion, is, a self coloured tie, exactly the same shade as the shirt, windsor knot, no question. So smart
