My best mate tells lies when she's drunk!
Silly lies and huge lies. I dont understand it!

Well all im asking if anyone else know people who do this..and why?

Are the lies she tells about herself or others? If she lies about herself only, maybe it's to make herself feel better, like maybe she hasn't done in life what she thought she would and so when she's drunk, it comes out in "tall tales."
If, however, she's lying about other people, that could potentially make the person being lied about very unhappy and she could lose some friends over it.
Have you tried talking to her about it when she's sober? How often does this happen, I mean, is she getting drunk every night?
Maybe you should try recording her while she's doing it and show it to her when she's sober...that just might SOBER her up! Good luck and try to hang in there and stay her friend if possible.

Usually its the opposite.....the more you drink the more "truths" you will tell. Sometimes not for the best either. I guess the more you drink the more uninhibited you get.
