Yeah, expecially if your playing a game where you have accesability to in-game chat. Kids don't know when to shut up and quit spamming the line. The best thing I can tell you to do is mute their in game, then keep killing them. They never get better and tend to run around trying to get the best guns (they dont even know how to use them effectively). Then you just waste them and take it. Easy kill.

I hate kids online they do talk rubbish and are generally not good at any game.

But my 9 year old nephew is different I know for a fact he's like a prodigy at gaming he completed Halo 1 on medium level when he was 5 and now he's completed G.O.W on Hardcore by himself dont think he's a little geek he goes out and plays all the time. Well wot im trying to say you cant blame the kids for having a talent.
I do ******* hate there little annoying voices though lol

You are over reacting to media hype.

It won't do the child any harm and will more than likely help in later life.

So, you would rather shield your children and wrap them in cotton wool to the point where they are complete nervous wrecks by the time they are teenagers, unable to deal with life?

My generation were children when VCR's came about and we watched some absolutely horrendous films before classification and censorship in the mid 80's. What damage has it done? Can you demonstrate actual cases of psychological damage in playing 18rated games or watching 18 rated films? Or is it all just a media game?

Sometimes, the content of games is rated harshly. Also, I am of the firm belief of my theory: If tried now, releif later. That is to say, if you give a child a sheltered life, don't let them play cowboys and indians, whack them on the rear when they point their finger and say "Bang you're dead!" and such, they are going to get more curious, they are going to want to try, they are going to become a gun-toting lunatic later in life. Wheras, if you let them embrace it, and inform them that it is not real, they will tire themselves out and eventually realise that running around a blasting people with Flak Cannons is not for them.

Just my two GP.

My son is 9 and he has a PS2 and a Xbox360. I will not let him play on games with a rating over 12 and even the 12 ratings I use my common sense on.

Parents have to realise that these games have ratings for a reason. The parents that blame have children with behaviour problems need to realise that they are partly responsible if they let them play on such games with ratings too old for them!!

I allow my son to play some 18 rating games,i dont see what's so wrong with that, and yes he watches some 18 rating films too (not the dodgy ones)It's up to the parents to teach right from wrong and if your child doesnt know the difference between fighting in a game or fighting in real life than you havn't done your job properly.

I totally agree, what's the point of having all this certificates on games if no-one eg. parents are going to enforce and make sure that the kids are not playing these games. It's no wonder that kids are messed up these days and don't place a value on human life.

How mad you are isn't the point here.
The big question is, what are their parents doing letting their 12 year old kids playing 18 rated games anyway?. Would they let them watch XXX movies?
Ratings are there for a reason.
