U can start with a few mins. initially [ 10 - 15 mins.] & then gradually increase to 30 - 40 or even 45 mins.
But dont overdo it ----not more than an hour at a stretch ----
it causes depression o/wise.

There is no time limits in meditation.when you wants to relax,you can do Meditation in peaceful place.
