I always get my monthly period when there are important events like exams and friends weddings or parties. Sometimes it delays for four or five days just to ruin an event..And sometimes it comes before I finish 28 days.. I know this sounds weird but weirdness is part of reality. I want to do this because I get ill when I have it.

Please Help!!!

P.S. I am 22 years old, not married yet and want to have 12 periods a year. I don't want to stop the period. It's something natural. I just want to fix the dates.

you don't say how old you are, but some women use birth control pills to regulate a very irregular period.

you take a pill every day for three weeks, then no pill ( or a placebo ) for a week.

during the week you are not taking the regular pill, is when you'll get your period.

talk to your doctor.......he / she can best help you decide what is right for your body.

You really shouldn't try to fix or delay your period. Its a natural part of being a woman.

I tried it one time... I skipped the last weeks sugar pills. It took FOREVER to get back on track. You will have breakthrough bleeding and you will not know when you are spotting or having your period.

Though the depo shot will stop periods, the side affects are pretty nasty (mood swings, spotting, bone density check every five years, etc.). I was on it for four years and finally went to Kariva (birth control pill).

I'd talk to the doctor and see about getting on Seasonale.

Added: What will happen is you end up fixing your dates, but events will happen during the time you are due for your period after you change it. Murphy's Law.

You can take birth control pills to regulate your period. If an important date comes up where you need to delay your period, you can skip the last week of one pack of pills and go straight to the next pack. You wouldn't start until you took that last week of pills. The drawback, though, is that when you did start, it would likely be heavier and last a little longer. I know several people who did this so they wouldn't start during their honeymoon.

Birth control pills will regulate your period. And you can take one such as Seasonale where you take active pills for 3 months and you only get your period 4 times a year.
It's great!
