Why is it that people these days have problems accepting homosexuality BUT they only have problems with gay men...NOT lesbians. Why is that? So many people that I have met or spoken to that have problems with gays, only bring up why gay male sex is bad.....they don't say anything about lesbians.
I have a theory. Do you think its because these homophobic cretens like watching lesbian porn? They don't have a problem with it if THEY like it.....but its not okay for gay men to have sex because they say its immoral.
One last question. Do you think homophobes are that way because they are still in the closet, or because they think homosexuality is contagious....or both perhaps?

To GoodQuestion: I am not labeling anyone. Homophobes don't have "beliefs"...they have hate. How many gay men have you heard being murdered because of their sexual orientation? Homophobic men seem to think that by having a gay man around, that seems to decrease their own masculinity. I've even heard about an article where some hick got his 9 year old son tested for AIDS because his son watched Prince during the super bowl halftime. The man thought his son "caught" AIDS from watching it.

straight guys are turned on by women, not men. the get off on "lesbian" porn. what they don't realize is that those movies are directed by straight men, those women are not "real" lesbians......and not only will real lesbians not let them watch, they sure as hell won't let them join in! it's all fantasy, not reality.
and, they are also under the ridiculous impression that all gay men "want" them. as if! I'm not attracted to ALL women, either! straight guys aren't attracted to ALL women, and straight women are not attracted to all men. but, for some reason, a lot of straight guys feel "threatened" for some lame reason. closet case? or just insecure? who knows? probably a combination of both.....or being raised by bigots, or lack of education....

Well it might be because they like watching lesbian porn. The female body is very good looking. Most think the male body is not so good looking. I enjoy the male and female body myself. There is nothing wrong with either of them. I don't think homophobes for the most part are in the closet I just think they are not comfortable with their sexuality. Maybe they don't even have sex. Maybe its their way of trying to make it so others don't have sex either. People are hard to read. Everyone should just accept people. The world would be a better place.

Well if you ask me I think people accept lesbians more than gay males because they just cant see how a man could be attracted to another man. Women on the other hand people say that women are naturally drawn to eachother. My mother is the biggest homophobe you would ever meet I still havent told her about me and my girlfriend but shes not hiding anything, I just think that she cant see why it would make me happy and thats the problem that people have with this issue. I realy wish that it was different but thats the way it is.

I don't think that homophobes are in the closet, but I do think that they are afraid of the unknown, of the different.
Alot of men love to see lesbians, but gay sex is wrong...go figure. I think it is because of the actual act of gay men having sex. The idea is strange, but many heterosexual couples do the same thing! I have also heard that it is weird for men to show alot of affection toward one another.

"homophobes" is a label made up to harass people who are grounded in belief.... contemplated manipulation by the same people that say enabling makes others sick. A contradiction coming straight from the secular book what a coincidence. Sorry, but this is reality...people do not have to watch something that is not natural and process it as healthy - get it? To make the assumption that failure to force belief in active behavior that is not natural = "fear" is public wishful thinking out loud not to mention childish. Social Science will do anything to make a buck.

It is because of the porn thing. Lesbian porn is a dominence-over-women thing in most cases for the guys that watch it. Male-on-male sex, they would say, is just taking away their masculinity, while female-on-female is making girls more girly. (Yeah, there's no logic, but what're you gonna do about straight guys. -_^)
Yeah, the homophobic thing is a combination of the two, sometimes it's one; somtimes the other; sometimes both.

Hard to say, really. But concerning straight men & lesbian porn, they like it and see it as "normal" or "natural", whereas gay men aren't. It's a combination of two:
-Hypocrisy
-They like the porn
Homophobes may or may not be closet cases, but I would say that it's the environment they were raised in, and the influence of :
-Their parents
-Religious beliefs
-Friends & community

They have nothing but hate in their hearts and even hate themselves for some reason and they have to learn to first accept themselves before they can accept anybody esle which is really sad as God is all loving and he made ALL homosexuals and homosexuals will go to heaven but the people that can do nothing but hate will burn in hell and they just want to try to make themselves feel better by putting others down and say that homosexuals will be going there instead.

Its all about hate. People like other people who conform to how they think life should be lived.....if you don't conform you are hated. I disagree with your point that homosexual men get more grief then Lesbians, I don't think thats true. But...I will give you this...to think about...no where in the bible does it mention anything about same sex between women, although it does talk about same sex with men being an abomination. Interesting huh.
