details...it's about the various state cigarette tax...weather you smoke or not, if you are honest with yourself, you have to see the unfairness of this...i live in iowa, and they are raising the cigarette taxes another dollar per pack...this affects only about 20% of the population who smoke....believe me, taxes from cigarettes will level off soon, with the numbers of youths not starting to smoke on the rise, and older smokers dying off, then what will they tax to make up for it?....maybe gasoline, say a dollar more per gallon...all citizens should be in an uproar on the taxes being imposed on smokers, it is your fellow americans being screwed weather you like smoking or not...all americans should stick together and fight any tax increase...please don't agree with the increase because you don't smoke..ban smoking from every place except the smokers own home if you like, but don't agree to tax away a legal product simply because our politicians are to boring and dumb to find income..

Sin taxes are always controversial. Unfair? Well, if the majority disagree, they will complain; and locally we've seen them disgarded.

Better cig's than milk I guess.
