There was a lady in Colorado that got a TWO DOLLAR check from her ex for child support. She sent it back and refused to cash it because it was a starter check and her bank charges three dollars to cash those and the check was only for two. He then took the returned check back to the courts and said she refused payment of child support and got off the hook for everything he owed her.

Doesn't that give you a warm fuzzy feeling?

I don't know the source because they were just talking about it on the radio, but you might be able to Google it.

I wonder if he realizes that that is an absolute reflection about the man he really is in his children's eyes?

Ahh.... I used to work child support and recovery as a manager at the oldest privately owned-government contracted agency in the United States ...

Either that's not the whole story or you're getting a taste of Urban Mythology.

It's also a Myth that STATE Agency contracted Child Support and Recovery Agencies take a cut of the child support payment. The Federal Government PAYS the State to collect that money which then Reduces the Federal funding spent towards State Welfare programs.

Part of the problem with children living with poverty is that many women, for whatever reason, do not pursue court-ordered child support. Why that lack of safety netting? What's going on there?

Payroll deduction is a common form of collection for court-ordered child support payments and is actually pretty effective. Most men (and even women) court-ordered to pay, do pay.

all of us's heard of him, and thinking the source, the solar, i think of this is all approximately as actual because of the fact the extraterrestrial beings that stay around the corner to the Pope. Going by employing the photograph, that boy is at MAX 10 years previous, and that's pushing it. The solar is getting what they wanted - interest and exposure - it basically isn't long earlier it comes out that it is not actual and you have all been had.

well did you hear about the mother who went to the court in two different states and got AFDC illegally and told all of them she didn't receive anything ever. And she has a job making 35 dollars an hour.
Just wanted every one to know that some women are bad to.
I know men who are deadbeats but no one hears about the mothers in the wrong.

Oh and that is messed up I hate men who dont pay their child support.

Yes I have, His name is Gary Alan Scott 10-10-1959 And I can top her, I still have the check for 2 cents and when I called child support and asked them why they spent more on the stamp to mail me this than it was , they said they must send any amount collected! Why don't they do something to these deadbeat dads?

Behind every deadbeat dad there is a bitter ex wife that thinks she deserves a better lifestyle then she had married PLUS thinks she owns the children. Did you know that there are a greater percentage of ex wives not paying court ordered support than men?

I owe child support for my son who lived with me. He turned 18 during the custody hearing so they dropped it all.

That's strange. Usually the justice system is tilted too far in the other direction.
