to buttercup, the difference is that Reno replaced the old staff during the first week in office... Gonzolez replaced the staff because they were digging up actual dirt and crimes within the White House. more proof that the Republicans are indeed far more corrupt than anyone anywhere.

if you READ the Foxnews, you'll see that they DONT report "good news" coming from Iraq. It sounds like Repubs dont read because they watch TV all day.

I think the question you are trying to come to is whether our society as a whole has become corrupt to the point that no good can be reported by either side of the aisle.
Reporters tell whatever makes them look best. Period. They have no interest in sharing 'good' news because good simply doesn't sell ad revenue. Bad news and sensationalism create interest, so they pander to the things that bring in viewers.
I personally don't believe in voting along party lines. I much prefer to vote for the PERSON who has values closest to those I hold dear.
There is corruption in the world. You can either buy the load of bull about sticking with a party or you can vote for the PEOPLE whom you feel with represent your interests the way in which you want them represented.
And be vocal and tell them when they don't do things the way you wanted. Be part of the process instead of just complaining.
If you don't like the way things are going, use your Constitutional prerogative to protest. Rage against the machine! Run for office yourself. Be above the tide of human swill and corruption! Refuse PAC money! Show the world how a decent person can be elected to major office on a shoestring!
You have my vote.

All of man is corrupt. Hints why socialism/communism will never work. I don't think one is worse then the other but I love how people blast Fox News for being right wing but ignore CNN, Washington Post, and the New York Times which are slanted to the Left. Who cares? Find a person you feel will do the best possible job and vote. People love to talk Politics because they love to argue!

potential Corrupts. Political activities are effective and all are Corrupt. note the structure does no longer grant a foundation for Political activities. Our Founders divided each of the powers of authorities as thinly as plausible because they didn't want everyone to develop into effective adequate to develop into tyrants. it truly is the most important argument adverse to a effective universal authorities and for more beneficial State's Rights. maximum of the potential should be in the palms of the man citizen. Any choose that announces he won't be able to make certain what the unique motive of the structure replaced into is too stupid to be a choose of a few thing. If a regulation takes potential faraway from electorate and expands the potential of the authorities that's Unconstitutional in nature. The Democrats are the worst because they Love vast authorities and far of regulations and regulations. should be because they can't have self assurance themselves to act responsibly and do not want to carry others responsible for the damage they reason. they want to spread the soreness and suffering brought about by ability of a few irresponsible persons round and make all pay for crimes they did not in my view earnings on.

By 'Republicans' and 'Democrats', do you mean those who vote as such - or do you mean the Republicans and Democrats who've been elected to our Congress?
Power corrupts, and when our elected officials are awash with money from special interest groups and corporations, they become tainted by it. Hubris sets in, and these people - who may have had the best of intentions when they ran for office - become mired in the cesspool of power inside the beltway. The stench becomes their aphrodisiac, and they're drawn to it likes maggots are drawn to fetid feces.
Fox "News" isn't "news" at all - it's a propaganda machine for the Republican party (another corruptive device that Republican politicians have become masters at exploiting). The only way to get rid of corruption in D.C. is to take away their power...and the only way to do that is to take away the money. -RKO-

Fox does report the good news, if you'd watch that news
program. Democrats are asking for Gonzales resignation
over him firing 8 or 9 federal prosectors, but here's the
hypocracy..........Clinton had Janet Reno fire all 96 of the
federal prosecutors when he was in office. That's a heck
of a lot more than Bush fired and Republicans didn't ask
for Reno's resignation over it. See?

Thing is, most politicians are for the money, but the Democrats have hearts and work mostly for the people, whereas, the cons are for big business and profit only. Look at the news today, but is cutting funding for Geothermal technology, why? Because he and his friends have stock in the oil/gas cos. Yes, dems do too. but did you ever see a dem turn down something that would help the environment, NO! We have had a con for a president for 6 years now, and it shows! We have war, we have high energy prices, we have rich getting richer, we have poor getting poorer, none of wich ever occurs under a democrat. Thank you.

there are no differences between the two parties when it comes to corruption. the politicians from both parties are equally corrupt - morally and otherwise.
except republican representative Ron Paul from Texas. Paul didn't even enroll in the Congressional Pension Plan, saying that he didn't go to Congress to get rich, but to serve his country and constituents. too bad all of the others don't see things that way.

Politicians in the United States extremely honest, not because of any inherent moral convictions, but because of the "bucket of crabs" behavioural model that has been adopted. (Otherwise known as "checks and balances".)
If you place one crab in a bucket, it will climb out. If you place lots of crabs in a bucket, as soon as one crab tries to climb out, it is attacked and pulled back into the bucket.
The same is true of the U.S. Federal Government. No single person could withstand the temptations dangled in front of top government officials, the money and political stakes are just too high.
But they are pulled back into honesty, against their natural inclination, by other politicians determined not to let their colleague get away with anything special for themselves or their districts.
So you will notice in the United States today that politicians are not paid exorbitantly, do not obviously shake down constituents, and generally behave well.
In addition, the United States spreads out its cost of federal government (military, regulations, foreign affairs, etc.) over 50 states. If you want to talk about waste, the overhead of every little dinky country having its own central bank, currency, foreign minister, military, language, regulations, electrical plugs, etc. is overwhelming.
Fox news is in the entertainment business, not in the "provide a realistic view of the world" business. Nor is any newspaper or television news broadcast. Nor is anything you see on television, period.
Over 40,000 americans die on their highway system each year. That is a Vietnam memorial worth of names EVERY SINGLE YEAR.
So why does the legacy media fixate on Iraqi war deaths? Isn't 100 americans buying the farm every single day, for the forseeable furture, in some often gruesome ways not newsworthy or important?
I guess not.

Republicans and Democrats are both corrupt.
FOX news is in the business of making money, as are all media outlets. If it bleeds, it reads. Telling about the double digit economic growth of Iraq, the massive drops in unemployment, the growth of businesses and newspapers, the restoration of utilities to a majority of Iraqi's, etc.... does not make for exciting news.
