I'm 16, and when I was 13, my voice broke... The problem is, I sing from time to time, and this week I've found it very hard to hit notes, and feel that I can't go high, as I could last week. I seem very flat, and even my peers have noticed... Wats with ma voice??

One thing is you are obviously not singing from your diaphragm. If you were you would know by now if you can hit a note because the power would no longer be there for the note.

Practice some controlled breathing and your scaled until you can project your voice better, then take the scales up and down to see which octaves you can hit and which octaves you can not hit. That is yur range.

If these idiots on American Idol would do this they would not sound so weak half of the time.

Your range may be shifting from tenor to baratone or baratone to bass. Then again you may have a throat problem like tonsils or maybe a cold. Those things go away with rest.

Have your song leader test you like I have said and the answers will be there for the both of you.

Good Luck.

Your voice is continually getting deeper till you are 19, normally.

***WELL, GIVEN YOUR AGE...IT SOUNDS TO ME THAT YOUR VOICE IS CHANGING. THE REASON YOU CAN'T HIT THE HIGH NOTES ANYMORE IS BECAUSE YOUR VOICE IS POSSIBLY GETTING DEEPER. GOOD LUCK WITH THE SINGING.***
