I have a female guppy that looks extreamly pregnant.. i have noticed for about the last month and a half that she is getting fatter and has a really dark gravid spot.. i am doing 25% water changes every 4-5 days. i had other guppies in the tank with her but have since taken them out so she can have some room..
What do you think is wrong with her ?? as i said she has been pregnant for over 1 month now .. she has had 2 drops previously that were 21 days apart and no problems as far as i could see.
thanks in advance

A typical time for guppies is 28-30 days and it sounds like she is over. I wouldn't worry about up to 40 days or so. If she is over that as well, try warming the tank a bit more and do one big (60-75%) water change. Other than that there really isn't too much you can do but wait her out.

maximum drugs inspite of the fact it somewhat is undesirable for the shrimp. Take out the fish. do no longer upload fish yet. Wait a month. meanwhile proceed with standard water adjustments and clear out cleansing. make effective temp is real. After a month, pass purchase some guppies. i could stick purely to adult males. You introduce a girl and the adult males get aggressive over her. then you definitely choose a million male according to 3 women. All adult males is okay many times. upload perhaps 3 guppies and powerful luck. purchase them looking healthful type an incredible broking. Do your analyze! Askign questions is powerful!

I had guppies before and I didn't even noticed that the female one was pregnant till I saw five little fish way smaller than the guppies.
I did nothing at all to let the mother give birth fast or slow. It was just a normal change of water and guppy food. I advise you not to be too panic.
Well, this is what I found.

arrange tank with stones and plants .so that after brith they will have some place to hide . how many guppies do u have?
frist seperate the pregnant one from others .
then ON THE SEPERATE TANK MAKE THE ABOVE ARRANGEMENTS
THEN U MAY PUT LITTLE OF SALT WHICH HELPS THEM FOR GIVING BRITH
THEN U BETTER SHIFHT THE MOTHER FROM BABIES
TO WHERE IT LIVED BEFORE SHIFTING
AND LET THE BABES REMAIN WHERE THEY R BORN

She will have her babies soon, a mother can have between 2 and 200 fry at once. You will have about 60 with an average tank and with the impression you give me. I normally get about 40.
