do you have to send it back? I bought something on Ebay and I wasn't happy with it, so I contacted the seller and she said she'd replace it if I sent it back to her. I sent it back, paying for the postage to send it to her. Well I get this email from her saying she accidentally sent me the first one back, but she realized her mistake and sent another one back out. I will be getting two items, the first one I sent back, and another one. I don't want to have to pay for postage AGAIN to send this item back, since I already did it once. Should I pay to send the item back to her once again or keep it, since it was her mistake? I don't think I should have to pay for postage back to her, I already did that once.

Well, I see your point...I would be very tempted to just keep it....I hate taking care of stuff like that (returns) when I order something online....I have to practically force myself to go to the PO....but from an outsides point of view....it seems that she has made an honest mistake and I feel bad for her....she should be ready to "eat" the cost of losing that because it was her mistake...but the most fair of things for you to do would be to contact her and say that you will send the item back as soon as you receive her money for postage. And another reason to do this is if you are really into the Ebay thing, she could give you bad marks if she wanted to. Good luck, I know it must be a pain.

send her email telling her that you are not going to pay postage again for the same thing already. She should be the one to pay for it.

She should reimburse you for postage but you should certainly send her item back.

send it postage due, if she wont pay the postage the post office returns it to you and its yours.

Simply refuse the delivery and it will be sent back by the Post Office, or mark it "Not at this address" and take it there.

Contact Ebay and explain the situation. I'm sure they'll find a solution to suit both of you
