why not? If it's consensual and between adults, then it's fun, not immoral and causing pain

You've got to be kidding! The primary cause of the fall was sex and it has remained in the form of desire a central problem since. I would call sex with the devil in the Garden kinky. Wouldn't you?
From being a eunuch for the Kingdom of Heaven's sake, to Puritans, to temple prostitutes to "religious" orgies; to pagan fertility gods to the sacrifice of virgins, male and female, to every perverted life style one could name (and some we haven't heard of yet) the OK list goes on.
I don't know of a legal brief on the subject; but it seems the underlying premise in America is that sex of most any kind is an inalienable right granted by the Constitution; that right existing somewhere between pedophilia and beastiality. What we can't do we can sell in the media, or try in the courts, to everyones eternal gain and satisfaction.---------------------sexual mores are however forbidden to religious teaching in public!!!!--------
In a few short years a bill to legalize the sacrifice of human virgins can probably be introduced without a lot of protest in America. Throw it in with abortion rights and stop all this silly controversy about when life really beings.
If you want lots of publicity, and your name dropped from party lists, introduce a bill allowing animal sacrifice and watch what happens. I envision a well groomed Poddle a Day offered up to the God of Wall Street Averages. When you really consider all the gods we have in America; this is going to take a lot of animals!
To answer your question. Religion as a human activity has always involved sex and death; however you may define them. Considering the personal, public and medical costs of sex, kinky or no, I would never call it OK.
Maybe we should drop reference to sexually transmitted disease and just call sex for what it is: The disease that keeps on giving; having turned humanity into a death threat to the species and the planet.

As long as you are not hurting someone against their will and two willing adults...if you follow the bible to the tee well we would all be living very differently wouldnt we? Women would be getting stoned in the streets..for no good reason. How many people truly live exactly by the bible. Were you a virgin before marriage..do you OBEY your husband...times change..we adapt but the general rules of stealing cheating etc still abide today..but sex..again as long as you are willing and the other is as well...and of course you are married ;-) ?

I believe you don't have to ask for approval unless you are not sure of what you are doing. We are all searching for happiness, and it comes in all forms. If you want to be a part of a group/religion that doesn't approve your tastes, then you are in a problem. You have to decide who you want to be. if you are going to be your own god, or if you need someone else to show you who is god and tell you what is right or wrong... and that someone else is also a human like you...
Read.... and think... I hope you find your way.
Peace.

Yeah. Christians enjoy sex too. Biblically speaking, nothing is defiled in the marriage bed. So, first we are to be married. And then, we are free to be "creative" with our spouse so long as it doesn't cause infidelity, abuse, etc. God gave us physical pleasure for our mutal enjoyment!

It's not just ok - it's a big help. Nothing like a good dose of Catholic guilt to make a girl relish a sound spanking.

Of course it is. Does not God say to love one another and respect each other? As long as that still in the relationship, whatever you two do for thrills is just your business. I say have fun with it. After all God would not have created sex and our imaginations if he didn't want us to use them.

No.
but it seems a disproportionate number of people in the Court system for illegal sex --(incest, rape, molestation, public lewdness and masturbation, childsex etcetera) also proclaim to be devout Christians.
So, go with the flow, do what your god would approve of.

Maybe we should get together and discuss this. :). Just keep it within the parameters of your beliefs. For example, no animals, no same sex, no out of marriage sex...get the picture?
