that's probably because wmp files are .avi extensions. just like itunes can't play wma audio files. you need to download a ipod video converter program. there's a link to a free software below for that.

that's because iPods aren't compatible with Windows Media Player. they're compatible only with iTunes. idk exactly how to put them on the iPod because i only have a nano, but i'm guessing you save them in a different format.
