My father recently bought a Compaq PC, Vista OS, with this brand of DVD-CD RW Drive. When the button is pushed, the drawer comes out like it should. But we can't find a way that sends the drawer back in afterwards short of putting the PC in and out of sleep mode. That can't be good for the 'puter or the operating system and, even if it is, its a major migraine.

Pressing the button again should draw the CD tray back in. Failing that don't be afraid to push it shut. Press it lightly and it will go in. There is no need to keep restarting the machine.
