No, it is not used in the English alphabet, nor is the double LL (ella)...that is part of the Spanish alphabet....the same as the (ess-szet) which looks like a B is a part of the German alphabet, but not English.

When a person can't figure out if he wants to say "yes" or "no", he says na-ya. You put those sounds together, and you have your Spanish ~n sound.
