i'm doing a debate on the moral issue of contraception...can you give some good points on why one should not use contraceptions? any help would do...thanks!

Oral contraceptives....I am always seeing the ads on TV warning women over 30 who smoke not to take them. In the Catholic Church they do not believe in contraceptives, I think this is related to sex is for procreation...not pleasure. Honestly, I see no moral reason not to use contraceptives. Of course Christianity discourages sex before marriage, so unless your married they see no point to contraceptive, because you should abstain.

As the person above me said, some people feel contraceptives encourage permiscous behavior, even that it is the "root cause of abortion."

Contraceptives can be dangerous too, birth control can put a woman at higher risk for a heart attack among other things.
