did anybody watch it ... i started watching it put fell asleep in the adverts .....
i knew up to horatio being the last to be with the woman in the lake and his blood being saved up for 10 yrs to try and frame him..... but was the ending????
so mad i fell asleep early on c.s.i. night!!!!!!

They caught the nut job by finding in a crime scene that Horatio went too a small piece of metal it come from a security alarm system that the nut job fitted in that is how he found his victims. Also Horatio hit the criminal and saved DNA from that punch at the time criminal got away. However a judge that Horatio had a run in from another episode decided that the evidence was unfairly got and would not stand up in court.
At the end we see the criminal walking free past Horatio and looks could kill from him and smirk over criminals face.
I am sure in future episodes he does get him in the end as this is a repeat.

run down of the teach... natalia gets pulled over which starts a great flashback somebody gets murdered - that's her ex-husband horatio says something stupid in the past the opening music evidence is produced yada yada yada it wasn't her the spectacular human beings get arrested last credit

I am also terrible at falling asleep during my favourite programmes, they need to put them on earlier, haha

it was a psycho from a case earlier in his career when he was working in new york.
he managed to catch him , but the vindictive judge from an earlier episode deliberately let him go on a technicality
